As a dog mom, I have searched this site, just like you, trying to find the perfect person to trust to care for my sweet boy. Our pets are our family, and that is why when your pet is in my care, they will be treated as an honorary family member for the duration of their stay. I am currently looking in to become a professional dog trainer, so I am comfortable with all breeds-your dog might return with a new trick! This is also why it is very important to me that I keep up with your dog's normal routine and schedule. If you are currently working on training your dog, please pass along what cue words/technique you have been using to prevent any regression. I have one dog of my own, Copper, a Boxer/Coonhound. He is great with other dogs and loves to have buddies come over and stay the night! I do work during the day, but the dogs get a long morning walk and I come home for an hour during lunch when I take the dogs to the dog park (during summer it's typically not a full hour-I don't want anyone getting too hot!) If your dog needs to be kenneled during the day, that's fine! If you trust your dog, I will do and they can be left free to roam the living room during the day. Typically after dinner we will make another trip to the dog park to burn off any energy. If you would prefer your dog not go to the dog park, just let me know! I want both you and your dog to be as comfortable during the stay as possible-which is why I love to send tons of pictures!
