Pet care experience
Caretaking for dogs and cats for over 10 years! Attentive, patient, and diligent about giving optimum nutrition and proper exercise when applicable. Everyone’s love of their pet is different and I 100% honor and respect expectations and needs of loved ones. Especially with walks, I am able to handle and care take for unexpected habits and or behaviors of a dog on their walk.

Travelled to Paso Robles for a wedding. Needed a sitter for my dog while at the hotel. I was nervous as my dog is not comfortable with new people. Mallory agreed to the booking and communicated well. She offered to answer any questions. She arrived timely, was very professional and friendly. She immediately put me and my dog at ease. Mallory took wonderful care of my dog, who seemed to really enjoy her. I was very happy with Mallory and would absolutely use her again.
Mallory is a delightful person and provided excellent care of our fur baby, Lola, and our home. She was even able to accommodate a last minute change in our schedule! Mallory provided regular updates and photos of Lola and left our home nice and tidy. I highly recommend Mallory and hope that she is available the next time we need to be away.

For any specific behaviors and or special needs that needs to be catered to, I’m happy to do so! I specialize mostly in the temperaments of poodles and poodle mixes. Otherwise, I’m a very active person that’s not timid with high energy levels and more than comfortable getting messy and dirty in process (which I will also account for and keep your companion tidy!)
A typical day
I have a varied selection of toys from stuffed and squeaky to a simple braid toy to keep your dog entertained. I have a few routes near my house I keep in mind for walking and am mindful of weather shifts, etc. so for example, for an extra warm day, plenty of breaks and shade as much as possible to keep your dog comfortable.

Availability
I will be working part-time (4 days a week) and the time in between is when I prioritize a pet’s wants and needs. I’m more than happy to seek out and assist with dog walking (I dog walk on a daily basis), sitting and or drop in visitations. ***NOTE for all house sits: My own puppy has a morning schedule between 6:30AM thru 10AM so I do my best to prioritize his needs and schedule. I also offer complimentary walks during evening and or overnight house sits, free of charge. Thank you!***
