My first dog was a rescue at 3 weeks old. She became my running partner and best friend. I have been a dog sitter, walker and always get joy out of bringing dogs out of the house for exercise. I try to run/hike 10 miles per week and always prefer a companion. I helped my moms Australian shepherds who are notoriously high energy, get socialized and able to run with me off leash on trails. Recently, I created a dog page for the magazine I work for, sharing local dog friendly wineries, beaches and stand up paddle boarding. What can I say? I just love taking dogs out and about!
