Hi, I’m Malina! I’ve been working through Rover in my hometown and Missoula for several years, so I have quite a bit of experience here. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this job; it’s always fun to meet and play with new dogs (and cats!), and I’ve cared for all energy levels, from couch potato to nonstop play. I have quite a bit of previous pet care experience as well. Growing up, I always had a deep love for all pets. I took my neighbor's dog for walks, volunteered at the animal shelter, and helped pet sit from a young age. My family and I have often pet sit for family and friends. I've had my own dog, an Australian Shepherd named Rosie, for a couple years now and have thoroughly enjoyed raising her through her puppy days! I learned how to care for her and pay attention to her health, we went to puppy classes and had many training sessions at home, and I've learned many ways to keep her active mind and body busy through agility, scent work, frisbee, hiking, obedience training, and more! I'm so proud of the dog she's grown into and she's constantly receiving compliments from everyone. All my pet experiences have made me confident that I can care for yours in whatever capacity you need, whether it be house sitting, dropping by for potty breaks and playtime, or taking them for walks! I will ensure that they are always safe, receive plenty of love, and are cared for in a way that fits their lifestyle!
