Pet care experience
I've taken care of people's furbabies for as long as I can remember. I began pet-sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation when I was in middle school. From there, I began volunteering at a local veterinary clinic in their doggie daycare program. I had the amazing opportunity to start working for the same clinic during the holidays in their boarding department. I'm the go-to person amongst my friends and family when it comes to pet sitting or drop-in needs. I currently have an ACD mix who is 4 years-old.
About Malina F.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I will treat your furbabies as my own. They will receive all the love and attention you would give yourself. If you have any specific needs for your pets, I will do my best to accommodate them.
Home
Information Malina F. would like to know about your pet
Any medical or behavioral history of your pet that's important for me to know? What's their normal routine? Any triggers I should be aware of? Anything you're currently working on with your pet? Things your pet is/isn't allowed (table scraps, jumping, on furniture/counter, etc)
A typical day
Lots of walks and playtime! Including basic training review (or whatever you would like to be worked on) only using positive reinforcement and mental games like "Find it!", snuffle mats, licking mats, etc. A tired pet is a happy and well-behaved pet, but that also means mental stimulation!
Services
Malina can host
Malina can watch in your home
Availability
I currently work in-office full-time but I am available for drop-ins and walks in the afternoons. I'm more than comfortable feeding medications to your pets as well.
