Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my family my whole life and I currently have a one year old corgi that I’ve had since she was 8 weeks old. I’m experienced with training pups from 8 weeks to 12 years old. I’m currently studying to be a veterinarian and love all fur babies. I’m very patient with any training or special needs your dog may have. I’m good with direction and communication and strive to make sure all my pups stay happy and healthy in my care!

Malia has watched our dog for us many times. She’s great with animals! My dog always comes home cleaned, groomed, we’ll feed and happy each and every time we leave her in Maila’s care. She goes above and beyond to make sure our girl is getting the best care including making sure shes walked daily and eating a balanced diet. Even sent her back home to us with more accessories and things than we left her with! She amazing and always our first cal when we need a dog related favor.

I have my one year old corgi crate trained so that’s where she sleeps and spends some independent nap times. I love to make most activities a chance for training or enrichment in order to tire out my dog. My dog gets rewarded for good behaviors on a consistent basis and we make sure she’s always leashed.

A typical day
Morning time consists of a morning walk, play time, cool down, breakfast and some independent time in her crate. Throughout the day we make time for play time or hanging outside in the yard, potty breaks and another walk if it’s not too hot, or else there’s a big shaded park 5 minutes away with lots of running area. In the evening, another walk, mental enrichment, dinner and cuddles before I put her in her crate for bed.

Availability
I am a student and barista at the moment but the busier the better! My dog’s breed is known to be stubborn, so I like to keep her on a strict routine and am able to pause my studies throughout the day to allow for play time or extra exercise and activities.
