Hey there!! My name is Malia, I'm a recent college graduate from the University of California Santa Cruz that majored in Film and Digital Media. I currently work on a hybrid WFH/office schedule so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to watching your pet. I've grown up with dogs my entire life! I currently have a Husky named Athena. I've been a dog sitter for family and friends on and off for about 10 years now! I have experience with dogs of all shapes and ages, including seniors!

Malia was an excellent caretaker for my fur babies. Punctual, caring, attentive, and kind. She fed them and played with them and sent regular detailed updates. Couldn't have asked for a better person to watch over them while out of town for almost two weeks. They look healthy and happy 😊
Malia makes using Rover incredibly easy. She quickly responds & has put us at ease each time we’ve been away and she’s taken care of our pets. Malia is thoughtful, great with animals, and communicates how everything with the pet visit went, which is really nice!

I’d love to know if your pet requires any special care. This may include taking medications, if they have separation anxiety, potty trained, etc. Even little details about their daily routine are helpful too!
A typical day
On a typical day that I would watch your pet, I would make sure to take them out on at least 2-3 long walks per day! I usually like to take dogs to a dog park or even to Tilden Park or the beach if the owner is comfortable with it! (I’m also open to places that the owner usually takes the dogs to as well!)

Availability
Since most of my schedule is online, I have tons of flexibility and time when it comes to fitting your pet into my schedule! I make sure to come multiple times a day to let them out and play with them or even hang out with them for a few hours.
