Pet care experience
My first job ever was at a doggie day care where I played with the dogs and had to walk around 10 dogs at a time each day. I've watched friends' dogs and such throughout the years as well when they go out of town. I've had my own beautiful dog for 8 years so far that I love and spoil like the princess she is. My availability is generally pretty flexible - I'm currently job hunting so don't have regular job hours. I'm comfortable with all kinds of dogs! My dog, Shaka, is the cutest little Havanese. I'm the most experienced in watching Havanese dogs (Shaka and her friends) but I've watched all kinds of dogs before! I can't wait to meet yours :)

Malia has taken care of our Havanese, June Carter, on numerous occasions. June Carter does not like to be alone and is happiest cuddled up next to a person. Malia loves animals and gives June Carter plenty of love and attention. I don't worry at all when we are out of town. Malia also sends pictures while we are away so we can see what June Carter is up to.
Malia is a warm and loving person. She loves her dog Shaka more than anything and will make a great pet sitter. I have known her for 17 years and watched her love not only her own dog, but everyone's pet like it was her own. One particular memory is of her rescuing a lost dog during a heat wave, giving it water, and keeping it calm and in the shade until she found its owner. You could not ask for a better or more caring person to watch for and care for your pet while you are away.
