Pet care experience
I have experience with all ranges of ages from puppies and kittens to end of life care for senior dogs and cats. I've helped manage medication care for dogs and cats, as well as some dietary needs for both. I have worked with some senior dogs with rehabilitation after a stroke. I have walked and cared for high-energy dog breeds like German Shepherds.

Malia is a genuine, caring and patient person. She has love for every animal she’s been in touch with. She’s cared for our senior dog after his stroke with such devotion. She has such intuitive sense of what the pet needs. Talks to them as if they were her best friend. She spends the time to make sure they are mentally and physically tended to. I recommend her for the care of any pet, drop in or overnight.
Malia is not only patient and kind but incredibly trustworthy. I can rest easy, knowing that my animals are being loved, and nurtured and very well cared for when I’m at work. She has a soft nature about her that puts even the most nervous pup at ease. It’s also good to know that I’ll come home to a tire pump. It’s also good to know that I’ll come home to a tired pup, that will have gotten good exercise throughout the day.

I love going outside with the dogs. A lot of the time they smell the ground and I can tell they really enjoy it. On rainy days, I find a good book and we snuggle!

Availability
I'm a full-time college student with availability early mornings, some afternoons, and most evenings. I am completely open for Saturdays, and most of the day Sundays. If the need is required for care in your home, I am available to stay longer to provide care.
