I am a local veterinarian but I’ve burnt out lately and am taking a few months to slow down and refocus my career. That being said, I still want to be around animals and spend my days caring for them ... but in a more relaxed setting. I am home most days (I only work at the vet clinic 1-2 days a week) so I am happy to spend time with your pet and make sure they’re as comfortable as possible. I don’t have any problem with your pet sleeping on furniture or my bed - where ever he/she is most comfortable. I do have 3 cats, but they don’t tend to be bothered by having dogs around (they’re usually sleeping in their favourite spots anyway). I’m also happy to send you pics or FaceTime with you throughout the day or week. I know how stressful it is leaving your loved one with a sitter - so I want to reassure you that your pup or kitty will be cared as if he/she were my own. I guess it goes without saying - but I am comfortable with special needs animals, older animals, puppies and kittens, and animals that need medications to be administered. I currently live in New Edinburgh with my 3 kitties and have 3 rescue horses out in Carp.
