Pet care experience
Hi my name is Malena! I have been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I worked as a dog sitter/walker throughout college and got a puppy of my own upon graduating! Before that, my family owned a Bernese mountain dog and Shih Tzu so I have 12+ years of experience in taking care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I absolutely love interacting with dogs and have chosen to be a dog sitter and walker so I can love and care for as many dogs as possible since I'm far away from my own. My schedule is flexible as I work and study remotely! I am a responsible and caring graduate student who will make sure that all of your dogs' needs are met. Malena took care of our dog Hombre for the weekend and it couldn't have gone better. She took a genuine interest in him and we felt assured that he would be well cared for. She is timely in her responses and provided us with photo updates, as well. She even made sure he was walked early in the morning before I picked him up at 7:30am.
Malena is fantastic! Our dogs loved her from the moment she walked in. She showed up on time and is a total pro! Will definitely use her again!!!

Before sitting your dog, I would love to know what their personality is generally like. What is his or her favorite activity? Favorite treat? Favorite place to go on walks to? Simply anything regarding his or her likes and/or dislikes, if he/she have any special needs, and what his/her typical daily schedule is like. I am happy to follow any and all instructions, and want to make sure that your pup is happy, comfortable and satisfied!
A typical day
Dogs are my best friends. I will sit on the couch and watch TV with them, grab a ball or stuffed animal and play with them, lay on the ground and give them belly rubs, and cuddle them in my bed! When we aren't cuddling and spending quality time together, I'll make sure to take your dog out exploring. I would be glad to take your pup out around the neighborhood and to dog parks for exercise and stimulation. Please let me know where you usually take your pup, I'd be happy to explore their stomping grounds with them.

Availability
I am currently studying towards my Masters degree online, so I have a very flexible schedule! I like to go on walks a minimum of 4 times a day and stay active with my pets! And so, I am happy to walk your pet in the morning, at noon, in the afternoon, and in the evening.
