My name is Maleah and I am a 27 year old animal lover. I grew up with my dog Benji (pictured: small, 17 year old chihuahua terrier mix) who is still as spry as can be, helped raise a female Akita for 4 years (pictured: end of photos) who was dog aggressive, have walked and lived with all size dogs (a few others included in pics (boxer, Akita, shepherd/pitbull mix) and I have an abundance of knowledge with training, feeding habits, dealing with dog aggression (worked with trainers with 3 different dogs), abiding by habitual walk times, and am quick to read most dogs when with them. I am a dog lover of all shapes and sizes with experience with puppies, senior dogs, leash/dog aggressive dogs, and scared dogs. Your pet will be treated exceptionally well (treats included), taken out to explore, go on long walks, and have a great time with new friends if they’re friendly! I love to cycle, cook, be outside in the sunshine (walks and hikes), explore new parks and beaches, garden, or just relax on the porch and read. I hope to meet your pup soon!

Maleah has walked and sifted for my dog multiple times. With her loving and caring attitude my dog Lucas always gets ecstatic when they get to see each other! Lucas being a rescue, he’s isn’t quite comfortable with other dogs. It’s comforting to know that Maleah has experience with anxious dogs and is always aware of her surroundings when they are out for a walk.

I have one pet- 16 year old chihuahua terrier mix- super friendly and very playful still. We’ve stayed young! I have walked giant dogs up to 115lb, pit Bull mix 1 year old dogs, and puppies as well. I am familiarized with muzzles, shock collars (if needed), harnesses and standard leashes. I am alert, familiar with dog signals of aggression or discomfort, and have no issues changing my route/crossing the street to avoid conflict. Please let me know any concerns or specificities of your dog and I’ll make sure to abide. (: I am also comfortable to feed and/or dispense medications.

I must know if they are aggressive with other dogs (small ones especially), their tendencies on walks if there are any difficult ones, food aggression, and allergies. I also need to know if they are house trained. I’d love to help with training as well so if there are specific commands you use, please let me know (:
A typical day
We will walk around dog parks, walking trails, neighborhoods, dog parks, or just play fetch in the back yard if that’s preferred. I love to be outside and know your pup does too so whatever do it’ll be active, exciting, energetic and in the sun!

Availability
I currently work 2-4 days a week, typically 4pm-midnight. I am available anytime before those shifts and of course, on my days off, which I can communicate weekly. I am happy to do early morning walks as well. My dog is older so his care is being let out before work and when I’m off we go on long walks around my OC neighborhood or to dog beach if I’m in San Diego. Happy to walk your dog along with Benji, or go solo if that is preferred. We are both happy campers either way. (:
