Pet care experience
Growing up, my family always had dogs which has cultivated within me a sincere love for animals. My pet care experience includes dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting. I have experience dealing with with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. My schedule is flexible so I am available to provide any services needed of me. In my previous pet care experiences, I have been able to accommodate special dietary/medical needs of animals, maintain a frequent exercise schedule for active dogs, and create special connections with all animals! I love spending time with animals so providing pet care is something I truly enjoy. While some animals have been easier to care for than others, I can honestly say that I have been able to connect with all animals in my care and end with a positive experience for myself, the pet owner, and the animals! I look forward to meeting you and your animals!

Had to leave town at the last minute and I found Malcolm's listing. He met with me and Lukas and Luna, and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. I left and checked in and the dogs did great with his care. Came back to find my dogs well taken care of and I already plan on rebooking with Malcolm soon. He's great!
Malcolm is a FANATSTIC pet sitter! I’ve known Malcolm for several years, and he’s always been amazing with animals. I’ve seen this both through interactions with friends and family pets, as well as my own. I have a 3-legged Chihuahua named Sheena. Sheena, being in her elder years, has a lot of special needs. Every time I go on vacation or business trips, I can always trust Malcolm to watch her and take great care of her. This includes medications throughout the day, a special diet, as well a calm demeanor to help minimize the anxiety she often gets when I’m away and provide comfort and a secure environment (very hard with Chihuahuas). These trips range for 24 hours to a week at a time. Many of these longer trips, Malcolm has doubled as a house sitter as well, adding convenience and peace of mind while I’m away (the daily photos of Sheena he sends helps add to that!). I can always count on Malcolm to provide the care she needs as well as watch over my home for those longer trips. His reliability and flexibility means I can always count on him. What really stands out with Malcolm is his strong ability to get dogs to trust him. Even when I’ve seen encounters with unfriendly or anxious animals, he is always able to win them over with his patience and positive attitude. He really have a genuine love for animals and I can count on him to treat Sheena as his own pet. Overall a fantastic person who is trustworthy and has a natural ability to get along with any animal he meets. HIGHLY recommended!
Our older dog, Bently, and middle aged cat, Oreo, LOVE Malcolm! We travel quite a bit and Malcolm was our "go to" pet sitter, dog walker and house sitter, before he moved to LA. He was completely committed to caring for our beloved pets and he was considerate and caring of our home. Malcolm is reliable, smart and able to manage any situation that might arise. Our dog, Bently, is an older dog with health issues, and Malcolm was skilled at coaxing him to take his daily medicines and changing bandages on a paw with a chronic cyst. He took Bently for his walks around the neighborhood and was careful to clean up after Bently on the walks, as well as at home. We have a number of friendly and not so friendly dogs in our neighborhood, and Malcolm was adept at dealing with any aggression. Our dog was always kept on leash and safe. Malcolm is also clean and neat and always left our home looking great. He brought in our mail and papers and watered our plants. I compensated Malcolm an extra tip for the extra courtesies he provided to us. We would highly recommend Malcolm as pet sitter, house sitter and dog walker. We sorely miss him and wish him great success in L.A.
Malcolm loves animals and is extremely competent and reliable! Having grown up in a home with several dogs, he has a strong connection with animals. He makes an effort to get to know the pets, their routines and special needs. He is a great at communicating with us on how our pets are doing. We recommend Malcolm to anyone needing care for their pets. He is a loving and caring person and our pets just love him!

As an active person, I am familiar with lots of dog parks and fantastic walking/hiking areas in Los Angeles. Depending on the dogs physical needs and abilities, I have gone on runs with able dogs, hikes, and healthy walks for older dogs. If your animal enjoys the company of other dogs, I would take them to the dog park. I take care of the animal depending on what they enjoy and what their owner expects of me!
