I raised my first dog, a boston terrior/french bulldog mix, from 2 months old as well as nannied for a family with a lovely dog, labradoodle, for many years after high school. Currently don’t have any pets but dog-sit regularly for family/friends with dogs of all shapes and sizes from Pomeranians to Pit bulls!

Malanee has been an incredible cat sitter in the past! Every time we go on vacation or go visit family, I knew that I could count on Malanee to be on time, feed the cats the correct types (we have one kitten and one adult), and even quickly bonded with the cats. She was always respectful of our space and would even tidy up a bit before we would get home. I 100% recommend her!
Malanee was a nanny and dog sitter for my family for 2 years. She was always reliable, caring and trustworthy. She cared for our elementary age daughter and our elderly labradoodle every weekday until we got home from work and made herself available on weekends and for date nights. Our whole family was so sad to see her go when she moved to Richmond.

Please let me know if your dog has any favorite treats, toys or tricks to help them feel comfortable/calm in a new environment or around a new person. It’s also great to know how they are on a leash, when an exterior door opens, or if another dog or person may pass on the street.
A typical day
I love to spend time with the dogs I’m watching by taking a walk around a quiet neighborhood or nearby park or playing fetch in a safely fenced yard. I love to engage them with toys and play a little tug of war! I’m also happy for some cuddles on the couch and lots of belly rubs!
