Pet care experience
I've owned 2 Queensland Heelers myself, worked with work dogs, and was the de facto owner of my roommate's two tiny rescues. After losing my second Queensland, I couldn't handle the emotional pain of losing another beloved friend, so prefer to just play "uncle" to dogs now, or temporary care provider, so I don't have to suffer the loss again. Both rescue dogs took extra care, due to missing teeth, and other psychological issues from abuse and abandonment, so I'm okay if your pet needs extra attention (or no direct attention, I've care for dogs that were abused and so feared direct eye contact) or has special needs. I do not know how to handle pit-trained dogs however and don't think I'd be appropriate to handle aggressive dogs -- I lack the temperament to discipline them. My boarding rate includes 1 free half hour walk, additional walks for overnight boarding should be booked separately, but for overnight boarders, I'll do 2 half hour walks for the price of one, no problem!

Malakkar is great with pets. While we were roommates he was always willing to spend time with and care for the pet pit bull and cat of a separate roommate and watch them for that roommate when they were away.

I have a fenced yard, but the fence is not very high, and goes directly to a golf course. It's a good neighborhood, and I can take them out for walks in the evenings and early mornings. I inherited very sensitive skin, so can't go out into direct sunlight for over a few minutes. I work from home as a result, so am always around the home.
Information Malakkar V. would like to know about your pet
I will need to know if your dog has any excitability or anxiety issues -- so I can tell if they need to "cool off" from too much play or attention. While I will accept stays longer than one week, I believe this should only be done rarely, because dogs tend to start bonding at 2 weeks, and I don't want to cause bonding and separation issues.
A typical day
Because I work at home, I often have downtime with little to do in it. Your dog will have consistent positive attention, and I'm okay with all kinds of play for dogs -- my only limitation is I cannot withstand direct sunlight for very long, but have a backyard in which they can run around in or lounge in the sun, while still being supervised. I will ensure that no matter what, your dog gets 1-2 hours of attention per day of stay, if not more. Petting, playing, walks after sunset or before sunrise -- my back yard abuts a golf course, which has a track to walk around the course with.

Availability
I spend a lot of time alone, my friends can only drop by infrequently. My work does not include a lot of socializing, so it's a welcome home to pets. Caring for dogs is something I've always found rewarding, and benefits me as much as people who need their dogs cared for. I'm endlessly patient with them, because I understand dogs on a very instinctual level. Most dogs warm up to me quickly. I also am more active when there are dogs around, because I love to play with them, and so move a lot more then I otherwise do.
