Hi! My name is Mal :) I grew up around animals of all kinds and now share my love for pets with my family. We were extensively involved with many SoCal animal rescues before recently moving to Las Vegas. Our family has cared for, trained & raised puppies, kittens, cats & dogs (along with pigs, horses, birds, rabbits, ferrets, etc.) of all ages, breeds & medical needs. We often travel to pet sit and have gained incredible experiences with animals all over North America!

Mel and her family were amazing. We got updates with photos of our dog daily. Our dog even made a new best friend and hasn’t stopped talking about her. It was very comforting leaving town knowing our dog was being well taken care of. Based on the photos it looked like Juno was very comfortable and at home. Can’t thank Mel and family enough.
Mal, Russell and their kids are awesome. We are traveling and found that we needed to suddenly fly home for a couple days. I went into Rover and they responded quickly. They live in a nice house and the kids were very welcoming to our dog. Mal sent lots of pictures and updates. Would definitely use them again. Super nice people.
I am so grateful that Mel’s family decided to get on the Rover platform. our boarding home isn’t available this time, Mel’s entire family stepped in rather last-minut, and is welcoming, accommodating, and showered my cat Cly with love. pretty sure kitty is in love with their pets and the kids ❤️ can’t thank them enough for the amount of attention, care, and thoughtfulness.
I have known Mal for over 10 years and have the utmost respect for her. I have watched her take in many foster pets over the past year as well as dog sitting for many families. She spends quality time with the dogs and treats them as if they were her own. She is honest, trustworthy and extremely responsible and I would highly recommend her for dog sitting.

My family is registered on a traveling pet-sitting site as both sitters & owners, so we personally understand how important it is to have proper communication, dependability & trust with a pet walker/sitter. We are in-demand sitters on that site, but in between travels, would love to care for animals closer to home :) We have tons of reviews attesting to our abilities and tendency to go above & beyond for the pets in our care- they all become family! (screenshots of some of our amazing reviews are posted in our photos here) We own a super friendly rescue husky, so are very familiar with keeping active dogs physically & mentally exercised, healthy & happy! We have a fully-fenced yard with plenty of space to run & play with new furry friends :)

A typical day
We love exploring all the neighborhoods, parks & hiking trails in Vegas with new furry friends! Our schedule is highly flexible, so we are able to keep pets on their current daily routines.

Availability
My husband works from home, and I homeschool our children (10 & 8 years old), so we have plenty of flexibility in our schedules for home visits, walks, and overnight house sits. Since our days are based from home, the animals in our care are constantly spoiled with love & attention!
