I've always had a love for animals, and I have been caring for them since I was 8. I strive to ensure that every animal I care for is happy! Your fur babies are in good hands :)

Whether it be dog, cat, horse, or owl Makilah has always showed an intense love for animals. She is not only a great caretaker to her own dog, but also extends her love for animals to a various amount of species. She is constantly checking to make sure her own dog has the best of the best and is in good health while also making sure that he is properly socialized and trained. Makilah is not only a responsible pet owner, but a lover of animals all around.

I am very attentive to detail when it comes to caring for pets. With my love for them being so immense, I will always be there for any of their needs, providing them the best care possible. I previously had a 10-year-old senior dog, and I currently have a super energetic five-month-old puppy, so I am fairly versed in different aged dogs. My services are also not only limited to fur babies! So please let me know what kind of pet you have, and we can discuss any options.

Please let me know if your dog has special needs, medication, anxiety of any kind, triggers (loud noises, etc.), things that they do not like (touching of their paws, etc.), and anything else that is specific to your dog that I may need to know!
A typical day
My goal is to ensure that my clients are happy and safe! I love to walk down trails and through forest preserves with dogs! It an absolutely engaging experience for both myself and the client. I also provide a multitude of different types of treats (with consent from the owner) and I carry along toys to play any games. :)

I am currently in my first year of college studying nursing, so pet care would occur from noon until whenever you need me! I have a flexible schedule, so we can discuss any possible accommodations.
