Pet care experience
I have had numerous dogs growing up. I have had two German Shepherds, two Miniature Pinschers, and everyone in my extended family has a dog of their own too! I recently just lost my last German Shepherd due to cancer, so this type of jobs perfect for me because I get to be around dogs, and help them have the happiest life they can live while their owner's are away. I had a summer job last summer that required me to walk, play, feed, and bathe a chocolate Labrador Retriever. I know if it were me looking for a sitter for my dog, I would want someone with an outgoing personality to make sure they gave my dog what it needed, and I am not only outgoing, I am also loving, fun, caring, and observant when it comes to animals, and I will always make sure your dog has a friend!

Makenzie did a great job taking care of our two dogs and the house. We normally take our dogs to a sitters home so this was the first time we had someone stay at the house and take care of them. We were gone a week and could tell the dogs were very happy when we returned home.
Makenzie did a great job! She was dependable and reliable and sent lots of good photos. I don’t think my cat even missed me too much because Makenzie always took time to brush her and hang out with her and keep her happy!
Makenzie took great care of our home and our pups. Look forward to having her house/dogsit again soon!

Are they good with other dogs or no? Are they potty trained, crate trained, do well on a leash? Do they like car rides, or do they prefer to stay on foot. Do they have specific schedules for eating, being let out, etc?
A typical day
We will take walks, play fetch, and hang out. If your dog swims I am able to do that with them, if they are up for runs, I can workout with them. I take my dog to get pup cups at Starbucks, so if they are able to eat those I will take them to get a little treat! We can go explore in Petsmart or other dog stores and see what they have.

Availability
I am currently going to school, and all classes are online due to COVID, so I open availability for the whole week/weekend. I also have my own car for transportation, so I can be there when needed!
