I have had pets my whole life and have provided pet care services for many clients with pets of all kinds. I am happy to take high energy dogs on runs or hikes if desired. I am comfortable walking large dogs and providing basic training.

Makenzie is a great dogwalker. My dog is very reactive, and from day one she was totally calm around Makenzie. Makenzie was conscientious about making sure my dog got a full half hour walk. She agreed to the job on very short notice and sent me photos of every walk. It was a treat to have Makenzie's help. I would without doubt ask for her services again.

I believe in positive reinforcement and cooperative training. I am happy to take pets on frequent walks, play regularly, and provide enrichment activities, such as pet puzzles and other forms of intellectual stimulation. I have a car that I can use to take dogs to parks and on hikes.

A typical day
I will take your dog for several walks a day, and if a high energy pet, will happily take them on a run or hike. I enjoy cardio exercise and will love engaging with your animal this way. I will provide enrichment toys to stimulate their intellectual side and play fetch, tug of war, or other games your pet enjoys. I will also be happy to engage in basic training activities using positive reinforcement while watching your furry friend.

I am going to medical school in the fall and have a flexible schedule until then. I am available during and after work hours, overnight, and on weekends.
