Pet care experience
I work in a vet hospital as a kennel assistant, my job includes take care of all types of breeds of dogs and cats, along with ones that are anxious, energetic, a senior or young. Helping vet tech during their appointment to keep the animal and the tech safe during the appointment. Pets that are boarding at my job we are responsible for giving their medication at a timely matter, along with feeding, bathroom breaks, and baths. I’ve always had a dog growing up and I pet sit on the weekends for friends and neighbors when needed. For college I will going to school to become a vet technician.

Makenzie did a great job with our puppies Pepper and Remi! She was friendly, asked appropriate questions, and the puppies enjoyed her company as well. She came for a meet and greet, coordinated timing well, was on time and flexible. Definitely will be requesting her service again.

I am very use to following owner instructions for how to handle and to care of their fur babies. Such as crating them, going out for walks with them depending on the temperature outside and their breed. Playing with them to get their energy out and give them good head scratches and belly rubs

A typical day
I love trying to build a bond with the dogs I’m with and playtime with their favorite toy or relaxing with them if they aren’t into running about. Taking them out to the park to get some fresh air and to socialize if they like other pets or to just see the scenery around them.
