I have been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with 2 pups in the home at all times, 1 cocker spaniel and a pointer mix. I recently moved in the area and have not had a dog with me at all and I miss them!! My current experience in dog walking and sitting comes from my friends and other connections I have made over the years. I have spent up to 2 weeks in a home with dogs of all ages. I have experience with watching up to 2 dogs at one time and administering medicine when needed. I like to work with the owner(s) to assure that the dog(s) is/are getting the level care they deserve. My main goal is that your furry friend is happy and healthy and I will make sure to follow all instructions and keep you updated on anything about your pup. I have the availability to walk the pup(s) multiple times a day and would love to make new friends with some more dogs in the area! Makensey is great with my two dogs. She house-sat and watched them both for 4 days. My dogs are particular, especially the little one who is very shy. By the end of the 4 days even the little one had warmed up to Makensey! I was very happy with the care and attention Makensey gave my pups. Would definitely ask her to watch them again!
Makensey is an extremely responsible and loving dog owner and sitter! She is also very patient and knowledgeable when it comes to dog care and is my first choice whenever I need someone to watch my pets. Makensey loves my dogs. And has pet sat for me multiple times. She is loving and attentive. Ten out of ten would recommend again. The Dogs say 5/5 belly rubs, 5/5 back stratches, 5/5for hugs and snugs.

Please let me know if your pup has any special needs! Also some helpful information would be if the pup is food aggressive and how often they typically go out during the day. I would prefer to keep the pup to his/her schedule so as not to cause any more change in their daily lifestyle. Please also let me know if the he/she is good with other dogs and if going to a dog park would be allowed or if you are uncomfortable with that idea.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog on some nice long walks in the local parks! If the dog is staying with me I would love to take him/her to Washington Park and if I have the okay from the owner to the local dog park! Also if the owner is okay with it, I can socialize the pup with some local dog friends in the neighborhood of varying sizes for some play time!

Availability
I am currently working from home so I can take multiple breaks during the day to walk dogs and as long as a home has WiFi, I can work remotely when dog sitting. I am flexible to working on long term contracts or if you are just looking for someone to pop in and walk your dog on a random day when you aren't home!
