Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a baby! I grew up with two sister dogs that were medium build but big pullers and learned early on how some dogs love people but not pets! Since then I’ve helped to train my friends puppy including fun tricks like spinning and holding treats on her nose. I also helped reinforce public behavior and teaching the heel command. I hope to get to meet your furry friend!

Makenna was the best dog walker I could have asked for! She has so much patience when it came to walking my very energetic puppy and making sure she was sticking with the training I had been implementing. I was so lucky to have a constant walker for my dog and knowing that no matter what she would be in good hands. Makenna has such a passion for animals and treating them like they are her own. I never k ce doubted the care that she was providing!

I believe it is important to make sure that your pet feels loved and happy at all times. I prefer discipline that uses encouragement rather than punishment and feel it is important to also let dogs stop and smell the roses from time to time. I always love to see a smiling face after a good walk or a new trick and work to make sure the dog and parents are happy.

Let me know if your dog can sweep me off my feet! My sister has a full sized Pitbull so I’ve learned some techniques, but want to make sure I can take the best care of your dog. I’d also love to know any don’t do rules you have in your family such as treats or interaction with other people and pets.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to fun spots for me to look at, but also make sure they get lots of sniffing time on the way! I also love playing games like fetch and tug of war, but most of all I love dog cuddles!!

I’m currently job hunting which leaves lots of time for dog walking! I also am wanting to get in more exercise, so I’m hopeful this will be a fun partnership for me and your pets.
