Hi Pet Owners! My name is Makenna and I currently reside in Long Beach where I am pursuing my masters in marriage and family therapy. During my free time, I decide to make myself available to dog sit during the week/ends. As of now, I am available for drop ins, walks, and overnights. My schedule ranges, but generally I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. A little bit more about my pet sitting background: my family and I have owned dogs, cats, parrots, guinea pigs (the list goes on) as early as I can remember. My pets were my family - so they were treated with the utmost love and care. I enjoy pets of all kinds, but especially love animals that require attention and activity. I have cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes, temperaments and needs. Several characteristics that separate me from others include, my attention to detail and schedule, my loving and caring nature, and my understanding that pets are important members of the family. I love going on walks with pups and exploring dog beaches and parks (both of which Long Beach has!). Each dog is unique: with unique schedules, personalities, likes and dislikes, fears and causes of excitement. It is important for me to discuss items like such with the owners in order to provide the best loving care. Also, with the owner's permission, I find it important to take pictures/videos for the owners, knowing they are probably also missing their companion while away.
