I’ve had my own dog since I was 7 and been around all kinds of dogs since. Almost all of my friends and family own dogs which I’ve cared for many times. I’m extremely patient with dogs that are more skittish and nervous as my own rescue has some issues of that nature.

Makenna takes such good care of our pup. If Chloe wants to play ball they do. If she was cuddles, they do. So thankful.

I have some green space near me but no yard. I do take my dog on a walk every morning and to a local dog park for an hour every night. I’m less than a 5 minute drive from Johnson-Springview park. So if I’m watching a dog that wouldn’t do well at the off leash dog park I would still take a walk around that park for a good amount of time. My dog is very excitable around other dogs at first but it’s just because he’s so happy to meet them. I take him to play with other dogs every day and never had a bad altercation. He’s super good at giving other animals space (he has a lot of practice with my cat) but would be happy to play and cuddle with other dogs too.

**I will not take dogs that are not fully house trained. I need to know that they can get along with other dogs and cats if I’m sitting them in my home, as I have both. I have a kitten and need all dogs to be gentle around high energy cats. I have no breed preferences. I also would like to know that they are ok in the car. I walk my dog at my local park and have to drive to get there.
A typical day
I take my dog to lots of the parks around me and to the dog park frequently to play with other dogs. I also have lots of fun toys to play with!

Availability
I work from home! I’m gone maybe two hours top on a regular day so I have plenty of time to dedicate to supervise and love on any animals I’m watching. I’m super flexible about timing and can make almost anything work. Please plan to book at least a week in advance! I rarely take last minute requests.
