Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Makenna and I am an experienced doggy daycare worker, vet assistant, pet sitter and small service groomer! I have worked in practically all the roles available in the animal industry. My goal is to have all around experience in order to understand pets better and enhance their time with us! I sincerely love dogs and cats of all breeds, life stages and sizes. Going on walks, administering medication, and playing at your personal home are just a few of the things I offer. Currently I am self employed and own Paws ‘N Go here in Helena and surrounding cities in Montana. My schedule is incredibly flexible, I mostly work half days so I am available to be home with my pets and also offer drop ins for others. I currently am unable to do overnight pet sitting as I have 4 personal pets at home. Please consider me for all your doggy/kitty needs!

What an awesome human! Came to do a meet up the day before sitting with our special needs dog. Called when she realized our family had forgotten his meds so someone could take them back to the airbnb Arrived early and stayed as long as needed so we could enjoy our son’s wedding.
Makenna is like the cat whisperer. When she comes to trim Suzy’s nails, dear Suzy just looks at her with a bewildered gaze with no struggle to get away. Once the trimming is complete, she doesn’t run off. I’ve also had Makenna drop in and make sure Suzy is feed when I have to be away for a few days. She takes the time to snuggle with Suzy. All of this for extremely reasonable rates. I have recommended her services to others and will continue to do so.
Makenna has been wonderful with our two cats! She's really easy to work with and visited our home before her first time petsitting for us so that I could walk her through our routine and meet our cats. Our usually shy cats were happy to meet her and responded well to Makenna's calm and warm demeanor. The photos that she sent from her visits gave us peace of mind while we were traveling, and were much appreciated. I highly recommend her!
Makenna has been our pet sitter for quite awhile! My pets consider her a member of our family. She's kind and consistent and completely trustworthy.

Availability
My week days are pretty flexible with a weeks notice. I do go out of town for the day on most Saturdays for my job, but am available for drop ins in the morning or evening.
