Pet care experience
I have lifelong experience with animals. I grew up with three dogs and a cat and have always loved animals. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes. I hope you consider me to help with your animals! I have experience with older dogs, medication administration and hard of hearing/seeing animals as well.

MaKayla did a great job taking care of our little guy Skylar. We received several photos daily, which we loved and really appreciated. Skylar was super happy when we came to pick him up and we were also happy he had a little doggy friend to play with while he was there! We are very thankful and appreciative of MaKayla and her care for Skylar while we were away!
Makayla and her family did a great job with our dog while we were on vacation. I would highly recommend them, I know we plan to on our next trip!

I have a fenced in yard with supervision provided at all time. Spots where a smaller dog can squeeze through are boarded up (our little dog is an escape artist 😅) to prevent any issues!

Please let me know about any behavior issues before hand so I can know what to look out for! We do prefer owners bring a crate for when we run out to do errands in case animals are destructive or anxious when left alone.
A typical day
I am typically home all day. In the afternoons, my husband and I will typically take any animals staying with us for a walk. We love to play with dogs and give them lots of pets and cuddles! My husband is also a runner and will typically take higher energy dogs for runs as well.

I’m a RN who primarily works from home. I love to have animals around to keep me company while working! My husband and I are mostly homebodies but love to go out for walks in the afternoon with our dog and to the lake! We would love to have your animal join our family for a few days!
