To better care for pets, I took veterinary assisting classes in high school that certified me to give medicine, shots, and administer pet first aid.

Makayla is so sweet and responsible! She was more than happy to house/pet sit our 2 dogs and cat while we took a last minute trip. Will definitely hire her again!!
Makayla did a wonderful job taking care of my stubborn, anxious rescue pup and my kitten! She made sure to provide regular updates with photos and was great at responding to my messages when I was worried about how they were doing. She was very patient with my girls and it was clear that she has plenty of experience with caring for fur babies.

I provide 2-3 daily walks, with 1-2 meals per day (unless specified otherwise), and regularly provide at least 15 minutes of exercise through play with toys, or just running around.
Information Makayla W. would like to know about your pet
If they have any chronic physical issues, like arthritis, any and all allergies whether it be nasal allergies or skin/fur allergies. If they have any anxious behaviors such as biting at their paws, tails, or even ripping their fur out. Also, if they’ve ever for any reason attacked anyone or anything, or have any kind of a bite history (whether it be a full on bite or an aggressive nip). These will help me keep myself safe, but also your fur baby/babies as well as well as healthy!
A typical day
Dogs if all types need mental as well as physical stimulation, so we’ll play lots of toys hide and seek as well as fetch. Lots of outside time is a must especially with the fresh air and wonderful sun, but not too much because if I can’t stand to be out in the sun for a long time, I don’t expect your fur babies too either! Usually I take my dogs to a nearby pond and we sit in the shade and watch the ducks, this is where I can take your dogs too (unless there aren’t any ponds nearby).

I’m currently working part-time so I’m pretty much available otherwise. I’m a first time mom, but that doesn’t stop me from helping other pet parents!
