Hi there! My name is Makayla and I am a graduate student at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science. I have been working through Rover for about three years now and I have plenty of experience with dog walking and drop-in visits! I love animals of all shapes and sizes and have had multiple pets for my entire life. At home, I currently have two black labs, one being a rambunctious year-old puppy! I also have two cats and a fish. My availability varies throughout the week, as my schedule at school is different each day. I will be in class from the morning to mid-afternoon, with most of my availability being in the evenings. My weekend schedule is very consistent and I will be available throughout the day. Like I said before I am comfortable working with pets of any size or age. I have had large dogs throughout my entire life (3 labs and a Rhodesian Ridgeback). And, we recently got a new puppy, who is just under a year old! I am also comfortable with dogs that are being trained, as we just finished a strict training regimen with the puppy. I also have experience walking and taking care of smaller dogs for my close family and friends. Regarding cats, I have experience with feeding, playing, and cleaning up after cats. I am greatly passionate about all animals and want them to have a great time while they are with me. I look forward to meeting your furry friend soon!

Makayla did an amazing job watching my Australian cattle dog and making sure he got the exercise he needed and the company he wanted while I was away. She kept me informed and reached out with any questions/concerns when she had them. Overall will definitely re-hire Makayla the next time I need to travel for work Thanks again!
Makayla was sensational!! My dog loved her and she went above and beyond what was asked of her. She was more than dependable, trustworthy, a great communicator and is wonderful with pets. I will definitely be using her services again.
Makayla is by far my first choice when we need a dog sitter. She is a family friend and whenever my family goes away, we ask her to come up throughout the day to play with the dogs, feed them, and let them out. during that time she kept constant communication with us, which eliminated the stress of leaving the dogs behind. Makayla is trustworthy, diligent, and our dogs love her. we will definitely be asking her to watch our dogs in the future!
I have two black labs at home and they are always absolutely thrilled when they’re with Makayla. My Husband I work long hours, so Makayla has played a vital role in the care of our pet babies! You can tell by the way she interacts with pets that she is an animal-lover and she would do anything to help me out with dogs. She always shows up when I need her help by feeding, walking, and playing with my dogs. She pays close attention in the care of my dogs and even caught that one of them had something wrong with his eye (he had a scratched cornea). I don’t know what we would do without Makayla and I swear my dogs are much happier and relaxed after spending time with her!

I believe it is important to have pets stick to their normal routines, especially when their owner is away. I love walking dogs around the neighborhood to explore new smells, while also playing fetch in the backyard. I am willing to take your pet to the park, if desired.

Availability
During the week, I have class from Monday to Friday and most of my availability will be in the evening. On Wednesdays I have availability in the morning as well. On weekends I have much more freedom and have a very flexible schedule. No matter what, I always have time to spend with your furry friends!
