Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my family dog since I was 15 as well as pet sitting/child care for friends and family. I recently moved away from home and am looking to be around animals more!

This was our second time working with Makayla, and she was as great this time around as the first. Our kitty remembered her and liked her, which is always a blessing. She also helped us notice and monitor a small health issue with our cat while she was watching her. Highly recommend Makayla to anyone looking for a sitter!

Makayla is great to work with! She’s very comfortable with pets and pet care overall, and really put me at ease before leaving on our trip. While I was away, she checked in with regularly photos and updates. We’ll definitely be working with her again, and recommend her services to anyone! (Also, my cat likes her, so that’s always a big plus!)

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or even just preferences. If your dog prefers their water with exactly 3 ice cubes, I am happy to make sure he has 3 perfect ice cubes! I will accommodate accordingly and try to give them as close to normal of a routine as possible while you enjoy your time away!
A typical day
I’ll be sure to meet your pet’s physical and emotional needs! Whether that’s a good walk exploring all the smells, playing with their toys, or cuddle time on the couch after a long day, I will make sure your pet is feeling cared for and given a sense of ease/comfort until you return home!

Availability
I work full time but am only required to go into the office 3 days a week, and on the days I do go in, I leave the office by 4:30. I will make your pet my number one priority and make sure to communicate anything and everything needed!
