Pet care experience
I have cared for others’ pets for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, bearded dragons, fish, guinea pigs, etc. I have my own dog that I love and I want to give your pet the same quality care I give my own! I also used to work as a kennel technician in a pet store caring for young puppies. I administered oral medications, fed, bathed, trimmed nails, brushed teeth, and cleaned cages for a long time. I also cared for a cat with special needs whenever her family was away. She had separation anxiety and epilepsy. I administered oral medication to her twice a day. I also have experience walking dogs from my own dog as well as other dogs I’ve cared for.

Makayla was great and patient with our blind 15 year old dog! She really took care of all his needs and provided me with updates which I appreciated! I would definitely use her again in the future.
Makayla was absolutely amazing! My dog got a little sick while I was away, she got it cleaned up and was so sweet and kind about the whole thing. She was great at communicating and overall took very good care of my dog. I would absolutely use her again and again!
Makayla came to feed and hang out with our cat while we were out of town for the weekend. She is super responsive and professional and sent us lots of pictures of our boy while we were away. He was very happy and didn’t seem lonely when we got back. Thank you, Makayla! We will definitely be asking you to come over again soon!
Makayla took great care of my cat, Poppy, and was able to accommodate a couple extra days of visits when I ran into travel difficulties. Loved the pictures and thorough updates - Poppy was definitely in good hands! Looking forward to booking with Makayla again!

A typical day
I love to start each drop-in by providing some love and affection to your pet. Then we typically go for a walk to work off some energy and explore nearby. Afterwards I’ll make sure your pet has food and water.

Availability
I’m currently working Monday through Friday 8-5 so I’m able to care for pets in the mornings and evenings. I’m also typically around on weekends for additional care and walks.
