Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, no more than one at a time, but I've always been around them. I've house sat with two 1-y/o pups before and loved it. I currently have one 2(almost 3!)year old chihuahua mix who is spunky and keeps me on my toes! I can run, walk, and play fetch with your dog; flexible with age of dog. I'm currently going to school for Birth and Postpartum Doulaship, while exploring other avenues of education. My schedule is relatively open, so I'm ready to assist you and your pets' needs. Makayla has been a long time dog lover and owner. She has extensive love and knowledge for dogs and is always wonderful with them. She also fit and willing to keep up with high-maintenance pups and has a very mellow personality perfect for the calm, older dog. Overall a wonderful dog owner and friend!

If we are going out for a walk, I'd like to know if the dog is up to date on their shots and if they are allergic to bees. I'd also like to know if there are any health issues that I should be aware of so I can accommodate on our walk. Lastly, I need to know how they are on leashes, with runners, with other dogs, and with other people. This is imperative knowledge so I can maintain the safety of your beloved pet, myself, and others!
A typical day
When I take a dog for a walk, it's normally just around the neighborhood or town. I'm open to taking them to any parks nearby or even a dog friendly beach if the owner allows it. If the walk is longer than 30 minutes, then playing fetch will be on the schedule to burn off some extra energy!
