FULLY INSURED! I’m a dog mom to a sassy, 8 year old miniature dachshund and a loving, dog-like kitty. I have a minor in animal science. I grew up with dogs and a cat and even a few goats. My friends/family would describe me as an animal person through and through. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and backgrounds when working at my local shelter back home. Does your pup need meds? No problem! I have experience with senior pets and medication management. I know how nervous I am to leave my pets while I’m away and I promise to ease your mind and treat yours like my own!

Makayla is the dog whisperer!!!! She is amazing. She was so thoughtful and offered to do additional things like bring our trash cans up from the curb. She was easy to work with, very experienced with animals…. And so kind. Our pups loved her immediately! We will be working with her again!!!
Makayla is so reliable and sweet to our dog! It’s such a relief to know he’s well taken care of while we are away.
Makayla is a miracle worker! She transformed my anxious little pup into her best buddy. She communicated so well with lots of pictures and updates. She even washed her sheets and towels before she left. Highly recommend!
Makayla was fantastic with both of our cats! They both warmed up to her and she kept us updated regularly on how they were doing. We will definitely being hiring her again for any cat sitting we need in the future!

No breed preferences. I would like to know if they are food/toy aggressive and if they are dog aggressive as well to make sure problems are prevented. Also any allergies info is appreciated as I often like to spoil pups/cats with special treats (with the owner’s permission of course)
A typical day
Playtime is a must! Whether it be outside in a fenced yard or playing with toys in the house, I try to physically keep them active depending of course on the pet’s activity level.

I currently work an 8-5 job at a security alarm company out of Clayton from Monday - Friday. I am able to do drop in walks on my lunch break within a reasonable distance. Just let me know and we can chat about your needs!
