Hi all, my name is Makayla Parsons-Hitchcock and I'm the owner/operator of Parsons' Pet Sitting Services. I am a native "Mainer" as they call us, born and raised on Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park. I am a recent graduate from the University of New England with a focus in psychology and mental health. I love the outdoors, being active, knitting, and as you can probably guess, animals. I first began this pet sitting journey almost ten years ago when family members and neighbors were in need of someone with a passion for animals and the dedication to love their pets as if they were my own. Not long after, I began my college journey and my services continued to grow, soon leading to regular clients which ultimately led to more growth of my business. Now that I have a well based clientele that I can efficiently cater to and manage, I have begun to expand my services. With almost ten years of experience with a variety of animals, and almost every breed of dog, I pride myself in being able to care for your pets in the comfort of your own home while you're away for the weekend, or a vacation. ​
