Pet care experience
I am currently veterinary student with 10 years at an emergency and general veterinary clinic. I also have 7 years of experience at a pet boarding facility. I am also fear free certified.

MaKayla is an amazingly PURRfect pet enthusiast. Not only does she take the best care of her own animals, but all of my furbabies adore MaKayla coming to visit and watch over them. You would never know these were not her animals as she treats them with such care and love that they feel like they are hers.
I have a turtle and Guinea pig. Every time I need nails trimmed for Chestnut (Guinea pig) l, I call her and she comes right over to do that and she offers to give Chestnut a bath so he can be clean after we clean out his bedding. I know I can trust that MaKayla will help us out and go above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend her!

My entire world is my cat and my dog. I would say that they are part of my personality at this point. I believe highly in enrichment for both of them. My cat has at least two beds in every lounge room possible with a cat tree, multiple bins of toys, and a scratch pad. I walk my dog 3-4x a day, offer atleast one puzzle game a day, and we play lots of fetch either inside or outside (depending on weather!) Their health mentally and physically mean so much to me!

A typical day
A typical day is 3-4 walks with my dog. We spend 2 of those walks fetching with a stick or toy. If weather is bad, we'll play with a toy inside. For dinner, we use a maze puzzle. For my cat, we play with a fish toy and she loves to sleep and cuddle. I always provide soft comfy blankets/beds for her to sleep in

Availability
I will be more free in the summer. I do work at an emergency veterinary clinic but am fairly flexible in my hours. For 10 years, I have been consistently surrounded by veterinary medicine and animals. I have a dog and cat myself and they are my entire world.
