Pet care experience
Hi! I’m MaKayla! I’m a 3rd grade teacher and a huge animal lover :) I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and obsessed over any and ALL fur babies! I’ve volunteered at a local shelter in MN for the last couple of years. I have a black lab and two cats of my own - who all love meeting new friends! I’m a teacher, so am looking to fill my days off, nights, and breaks with some extra animal love. Please reach out if you think I’d be a good fit :)

Makayla was fantastic before and during Lucky’s stay. They were very welcoming and excited to have Lucky staying with them. They took great care of him, sent us frequent updates and photos.

Makayla was my first Rover and I was so nervous but she was wonderful on such short notice!! She sent me so many cute photos- and my dog loved her!!! So so thankful and will totally be using her again if needed.
Makayla has always been a dog person and has a special place in her heart for them. She grew up fostering all kinds of dogs and volunteering at animal shelters. She is the kind of person that will treat your fur baby like her own.

Availability
I currently work full time, so can’t do much during the day. However, I am available for nights and weekends! I’m also a teacher - meaning I have lots of breaks and days off so availability will vary! Looking to fill my free time with extra animal love!
