✨Hello!✨ Since a very young age I loved to be around and help take care of many different animals. Along with the animals in my household, I’ve spent years caring for my family and my friend’s pets while they’re away, and have experience with all the different ages and varieties of pets. 🎾Dogs🐾 I have taken care of and spent time with all kinds of different breeds of dogs along with all different life stages. I’ve cared for puppies all the way up to senior pups and I’m comfortable with providing medication as needed. I’m comfortable with handling multiple dogs at a time and will make sure they each get the proper care they need. 🐱Cats🐈⬛ Same with my experience with dogs I’ve been around many breeds of cats at many different life stages. With a cat of my own I understand the boundaries cats have and know how to approach them and can read their body language. I’ve helped take care of multiple cats at a time and I’m not afraid of the kitty claws. I’m comfortable with dealing with litter boxes and other indoor and outdoor cat needs. 🐰Other Furry Friends🐀 In past years ive had multiple pet rats and a rabbit, along with my own pets I have lived with and helped care for past roommates rabbits and other critters. If you need me to exercise or feed the many critters of your household I would be more than happy to, even the small ones. 🦜Feathered and Scaled friends🐍 Along with rodents I have experience with birds, fish, and reptiles. Although I do not have as much experience as I do with dogs and cats in this area, I’m still very comfortable with taking care of any pet you have. 🐷Farm Friends🐓 Not only do I care for critters inside the home, but also a variety of livestock. I’ve cared for primarily chickens, ducks, and goats. I’ve helped my family with sheep and I have limited experience with cows and horses, none the less I still care deeply for them and will help with any animal needed. ✨Thank You✨ Im an animal lover through and through and am able to care for many different pets in many different circumstances. I highly recommend Makayla for your pet care needs. She has not only been my personal carer for my own pets, but is my partner for when I am in need of some assistance in my own pet care services. I have first hand seen countless of interactions she's had with varying dog breeds, ages, and special needs of all animals (including other fury, scaly, or aquatic friends!). What really shines in her interactions is her ability to go above and beyond in establishing the comfort and trust of both the animals and the client. Makayla has been helping my husband and I with our animals for several years now. She not only feeds our animals but plays with them for hours so they will not feel lonely. My family owns several cats and dogs, altogether being around 7 to 8 animals to take care of. Makayla is the person I always call whenever we go out of town to take of them. I can understand body language for both cats and dogs and will know when to intervene, take a pet out of a situation, or even take myself out of a situation. I have no problem following specific feeding instructions, medication instructions, and walking instructions.

I would definitely need to know the pets physical limitations, especially with an older pet. I would need to know how your dog interacts with other dogs and children, to guarantee both parties involved can be safe and this way I’ll know how comfortable they would be in a public space. It would also be good to know if the pet has any spots they are not okay with being touched so I can make sure to avoid them, and make sure the pet remains comfortable and happy.
A typical day
Taking dogs on walks can be very therapeutic and not only is it wonderful for me but for the pups as well. I live very close to a park and can take your pup for a nice and enrichment filled outing. I can follow any physical needs your pet has so they are getting the proper exercise and enrichment. I love hiking and going to the beach and would love to take your pet with me. Either it’s outside of the house or just in the back yard I’m more than willing to make sure your pet has the proper exercise and fun times they need.

My availability can be all over the place, but I’m always more than welcome to give more details about the hours I have available, and I’m very open to making sure I am able to schedule anything between my other engagements.
