I grew up on a little Midwestern farm so animals have always been a part of my life. I am very a patient person and I love giving dogs a moment to smell the flowers or fire hydrants. I believe in positive reinforcement and kindness and I can hardly wait to make your loved pet my new friend.

Makaha was amazing. She sent me pictures of the dogs eats time she was here to let them out to potty. We can home to them happy and fed! Was a relief to be able to enjoy a day with friend and also have our dogs water after with someone we trust! Will for sure hire her again!
Makaha is just awesome. Warm and loving nature. My cats absolutely loved her. My little one is shy and usually hides from people, but she came right up to Makaha at our meet and greet. She even did a photo shoot with the kids. I will definitely be using her again.
I trust Makaha with my most prized possessions, my dogs. I'm definitely a protective dog mom when it comes to them. I have a 4 year old special needs doxie Petey that is just 8lbs, who requires medicine twice a day, has to be carried because he can't do stairs and he needs to be kept warm because he can't manage his own body temperature very well. Makaha does so well taking caring of him and making sure he's safe and comfortable. He requires a lot of attention and Makaha never fails me, she's so amazing and patient with him. I also have a doxie mix Sierra that I recently adopted that just tuned 1. Makaha is very patient with Sierra who is scared and timid, she never yells or gets frustrated with her. She even taught her how to lay down! Makaha takes the time to get to know my dogs and is one of the most patient people I know. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for someone caring and compassionate to walk or watch their dogs.

Pet care is a daily routine, this includes belly rubs, walks, fetch, training, and spending time hanging out around the house. My dog Ernest really is my best friend and spending time with him is always the highlight of my day.
