Do you know what I love most about dogs? It’s that they are there for us through thick and thin, they never judge us, are selfless, provide unconditional love, and are always happy to see us; whether we’ve been gone five hours or five minutes. They can even motivate us to get out and go for walk -- how can you beat that? I love working for Rover because it gives me the opportunity to spend time with new dogs on a regular basis; and that, is one of the greatest opportities I could ever ask for. I have two dogs: A teenaged Husky (Sophia) and a Pitbull puppy (Bentley.) They are my absolute world, my best friends, and admittedly, they are spoiled rotten! I have also fostered a puppy in the past, and that was an amazing experience that I would love to do again. I’ve worked at two different animal shelters, where I learned a lot about caring for dogs with various illnesses and ailments; this provided me with the training to be skilled enough to give one of my past senior dogs her daily shots due to her past diabetes diagnosis. When it comes to caring for pups, I don’t have any breed preferences -- I love them all the same! I grew up with Golden Retrievers and Labs, and have cared for Border Collies, Jack Russells, Yorkies, Maltese’s, and various mixed breeds. I would love to have your pup join me on my favorite hiking trail, or we can head out to the dog beach down the coast. I’m a regular at all the local dogs parks, and I know what kind of crowds they draw; so, whether your pup likes big crowds or is more of a quiet wanderer, I’ve got it covered! Either way, I walk my dogs three times a day, and I try to switch up our routine so that they’re never bored and are constantly being socialized with other dogs! In addition to dogs, I’ve also had cats and a turtle; therefore, I am happy to provide care services for them as well. While I’m caring for your pup, you can know that you can always reach me -- 24/7 -- on my phone. I’ll also keep you updated on your dog when you are away—with photos and texts. I want to always reassure my client that their dog is safe and in good hands. I can even provide extra services to your pup such as baths and chew toys! All in all, if I can end my day knowing that I made someone else’s day — or their pup’s — even a little bit better, then I can go to bed with a smile.
