Hi! My name is Maiya, and I am a senior at University of Maryland. I am studying Family Science and intend to graduate in May 2020. I've had pets all my life, but unfortunately since entering school I have not been around them as much. Having pets has been proven to help with anxiety and depression, so I love creating bonds with many different type if animals to personally help my mental and emotional well-being. I enjoy long walks, cuddling, and positively engaging with pets to better their health and hopefully expand their life-span. Pets can be like children; there when you need a pick-me-up, but also there when you want to do work or enjoy your night. I'm here to give you a break. I look forward to meeting you!
