Hi! My name is Maiya and I have a passion for animals! I have been told that I have a big heart and I love to share that with any person OR pet I interact with. I was born and raised in Brooklyn but moved to Charlotte when I was 10 years old. I have experience pet-sitting and taking care of any dog or cat - from all sizes and breeds! My family has a have a seven-year-old short-haired chihuahua named Frankie., who I have loved like he was my own. I have had three cats previously before him. Amongst family and friends, I have been known to not only be loving and trustworthy but to have an amazing connection with any pet - even if they tend to shy away. At the end of the day, I want to make sure that they feel comfortable and safe with me. I am back home with family after from in New York for my year to obtain my Master’s Degree in Social Work. I have a lot of flexibility and am very obtain to traveling to take care of your sweet babies. I prefer to work with clients who are interested in drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting services. Before I start working for you and your pets, I would like to meet you all before I start, just so we can all get to know each other and I can learn about your pets. I am also trained in first aid for dogs and cats, so I can handle any situations that come my way.
