Hi! My name is Maisie. I'm a farm girl at heart, having grown up in Southern Minnesota surrounded by animals, my favorite being my larger-than-average Newfoundlands! I was responsible for the well-being of all different kinds of animals, from chickens to horses, and I enjoyed it so much I gladly spent more time in the barn than in the house. Even though I now live in the city, I have retained my experience with handling animals and am able to read and understand body language and emotions very well. I enjoy meeting new cats and dogs and getting to know their personalities, believing that learning and respecting their unique quirks and tendencies leads to a healthy friendship and a happy puppy or kitty! Interacting with dogs and cats is second nature to me and I am more than comfortable handling all sizes and breeds, no matter the environment or health concern. I'm happy to administer shots or pills if your pal is under the weather or of old age, and I'll love travelling to meet them in their own homes to allow for minimum disruption should you have to be gone for awhile.
