Pet care experience
I currently do not have pets, but have always wanted dogs, cats, and even more! Many family friends contact me to pet sit because I love animals so much and love to play with them and take care of them. While me not having pets and non-extensive experience might turn you off from picking me, I can assure you that I will put all of my energy into making sure that your pet is safe, happy, and healthy!

Mairead was amazing!! I contacted her in major panic mode when my friend had to back out of watching my dog 2 days before my trip due to a family emergency. She very quickly responded and was able to do a meet and greet that evening. Oshie took to her and her roommates right away, and I felt so at ease leaving him. She sent me daily updates which I so appreciated. Oshie came home so happy and exhausted from all of the fun he had during his time with Mairead. I would book again in a heartbeat!
Mairead is one of the most responsible people I know. She can be counted on to arrive on time and follow directions to a T. She is kind and compassionate providing extra TLC whenever needed for my anxious toy poodle. She even sent pictures to reassure me that Fergie is doing well. Mairead will take great care of your dog!

I am more than willing to have your pets in my house, as long as their cages, toys, and food/treats are available! I live with 5 other animal-loving girls who are energetic and love to go on walks with their dogs/ playing with our cat (she stays in one of the bedrooms so not to worry). The campus I live on is the best for walks and playing outside!

I don’t have any preferences as to what type of dogs I pet sit. Because my house is on the smaller side, it might be best if they are small/medium sized dogs if they stay here. Although if your dog is bigger, we can always have lots of outdoor time to accommodate them. I have the most experience with small dogs, but have also worked with bigger dogs and love them! I think it would be best to know age, activity level, any health concerns current or past that I should know about.
A typical day
I am a very active person, and love both energetic/active dogs and dogs who like to chill. I love to play outside and run around to play fetch or frisbee, go on long/short walks depending on the dog’s age, activity level, and preferences. I also love just chilling on the couch with pets too depending on what they prefer! I usually take walks just in the neighborhoods, but if there is a local park they like, I would love to go there.
