Nursing School stress, need dogs!
Pet care experience
Having grown up on a farm, I am definitely an animal lover and am well-versed in the care and attention they need and deserve. I have owned dogs as small as Jack Russels and as large as Newfoundlands, all of them hold a special place in my heart. I am currently reaching out to the Rover community with the hope of earning some extra money while I continue with my nursing school. My class schedule for the Fall allows for ample time to care for dogs in the community. I have been watching and walking neighboring dogs since I was able to drive at age 16. I enjoy getting to know new dogs and the humans that come with them. Please reach out if you are in need of trustworthy help while you are away.

Mairead is the best caretaker we have ever had. We will use her again and feel lucky to have made her acquaintance. Our dog requires a lot of attention, so it’s not easy and she handled everything with ease. Which makes our entire family’s lives easier/better.
Mairead was absolutely wonderful with our Labrador! Prior to us traveling, Mairead visited with us and Max at our home. She spent an hour with us, so that we all felt comfortable! She sent pictures of Max to us while we were away, which really put us at ease. When we came home, it was clear to see that he had been taken care of very well. Mairead stayed at our home, taking excellent care of both Max and our home. We will definitely use her services again and would highly recommend her!
Mairead was the perfect sitter for our fur babies. We have two very shy chihuahuas and she was patient and kind to them both! We will definitely be using her for future trips!
Mairead is a natural with all types of animals, but was especially great with our two dogs -Reggie & Riley! Reggie can be a handful (high energy) and Riley is a very shy/hesitant rescue. Mairead was able to connect with both dogs almost instantly and her calming presence was just what they needed. She has been great helping out on a day-to-day basis or even watching them during vacations. Reggie & Riley both give her two paws up!
