Pet care experience
I am currently a third year student at McGill University. As the school semester is over, I have a lot of free time to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I have always loved dogs, now that I have one of my own I would love for her to make some furry friends along the way. I think that my dog Blu would love having a friend at home to play with, and accompany us on our daily walks to the park and around Montreal. I know how important dogs really are to their owners, and that it can be difficult when they are away, I think that by staying with Blu and I, owners can be at ease during their travels or long work hours, and their dogs will have a great time exploring the city with Blu and I. I have a variety of different experiences with dogs, such as a dog walking, house-sitting (for short durations) , as well as dog boarding for long durations of time while owners were away on vacation.

Maira was absolutely lovely with Willy. She did a great job, he was happy and calm when I picked him up. I would recommend her unreservedly. You can feel confident and safe leaving your dog with her that she will give loving thoughtful care.
Maira is very sweet and accommodating and took excellent care of my fur babies!
Maira took great care of Diego. Even saw them on a walk only couple of hours after I left him. Her dog Blu was very playful with Diego and they were getting along great. Diego is used to sleep on my bed with me and Maira let him sleep with her. She even made her balcony more secure because Diego is smaller so he could go outside too. She also hand fed him cause he doesn’t eat when I’m not around. You can sense that she’s a true dog lover, I would leave him again with her anytime!
Maira was really nice and she took great care of Buster. She was responsive and flexible. I will definitely check with her if I need a sitter again! Thank so much and Buster seems to had a great time with her and Blue!

As I have a dog, it is important that the dog that I am housing get along with other dogs. My dog Blu is very friendly and active, so a dog that enjoys the outdoors would be great! I would like to know: - Whether they are potty trained - If they enjoy being around other dogs - If they have to take certain medication, etc.
A typical day
If your pupper stays with me they'll get lots of outdoor exercise, as I often frequent the various (dog) parks around my apartment. As I have an active dog that loves to be outdoors, I typically walk to different dog parks around my home so that she can run off leash and play with other dogs. Although, I do also like to go on walks to Mount Royal and other parts of the city. Your pupper will be treated as one of my own, and be taken with me and Blu on our daily adventures. I also enjoy relaxing at home, so if your dog is more laid back I'm happy to accommodate your dog and go on shorter durations for walks and spend more time playing at home.
