Pet care experience
I got my first “official” dog sitting gig when i was 16, but I’ve lived with animals my whole life! My parents are ranchers and currently have 10 animals, but have had as much as 30 at one time. Chickens, dogs, cats, goats, snakes, rabbits, you name it! I currently have a 2 year old 75lb german sheppard/ malamute mix who I rescued from a shelter in 29 Palms California. I’ve trained him myself! He does a perfect heel, never barks, gets along with animals of all shapes & sizes, even birds!

I've had several dog sitters over the years and I trust none of them as much as I trust Maile. The only person that my dog loves more than Maile is myself. She just has just a big heart and the animals can tell that and are drawn to her. Book her now! You won't be disappointed!
She may be small but she is mighty! I spent months trying to find someone to walk my 100lb great dane. Maile was up for the challenge and my baby was exhausted when she brought him back. Always responsive and on time. I recommend her to all my friends.
Maile is such a lover of animals and the HUGE heart she has shines bright when taking care of our dogs. She is not only caring but responsible and trustworthy...we could not recommend her enough.

A typical day
I specialize in both heel walks & health walks. Heel walks are strict & involve training, while health walks are for your doggy’s health & enjoyment. I also NEVER allow pulling so you can expect your dog to learn proper leash manners after some time with me.

Availability
I am currently a stay-at-home fur mama. Since moving to Asheville, my only responsibilities are my doggy & our two cats. I take my dog, Maverick to Azalea dog park every day to socialize & get his energy out, after that we do a heel-walk around the lake.
