Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and cats in my household my entire life. I love being able to meet new animals and get to see how each of their personalities shine through in such a unique way. I have a dog, Peeka, who is 8 years old. She is a shih tzu / toy poodle mix and she loves going to the park and meeting other dogs and cats. We (Peeka and I) love going on nature walks, and I would enjoy getting to take your pet out with me for a stroll whenever needed while you are away! If you have a cat, they would be entertained with Peeka around, but she just likes to play. When pet sitting, I would make sure to take the time to get to know your pet. If they like, I am pretty good at playing tug of war :).

Maija is a wonderful caregiver! I left my dog chewy in her hands before and she was so gentle with him taking him out when needed and attending to any of his needs. I highly recommend maija!

My apartment is open range and filled with toys. I can crate dogs if needed. Peeka has stairs to the bed and other dogs/cats can use the bed as well.

I would like to know if the dog is temperamental or territorial. My dog has been attacked in the past and can be frightened of territorial dogs. It may be best to look elsewhere if this applies to your fur baby ?
A typical day
We will definitely go on walks if I am staying with a dog! We will play and get to know each other. Maybe even go to a dog park if that is wanted!

Availability
I work part time and go to school part time. I am home every few hours because I have a dog who is very spoiled! I do not like to leave her without love and walks every few hours. We would be happy to include your animal into our schedule for a bit.
