Pet care experience
I have had many animals of all kinds growing up: many cats, several dogs, many fish, frogs, lizards, bunnies, and 1 snake. I currently live with 2 cats and a dog (that is just too cute!). I have been pet-sitting off and on for most of my adult life, and I have had a lot of experience with many different pets and their different needs. I feel this has made me be prepared for all types of pets and the different things they love and hate. Friends have called me an animal whisperer because I can herd cats and be the first person outside of someone's family that the dog will actually let them pet. Because of this I have specialized with shy pets, but I am also very happy and capable of seeing to the needs and attention of every pet I take care of. I'll also send any cute photos so you don't have to miss your pet too much while you're away.

Maia was wonderful with my two cats!! I had to go away, very last minute, and needed a sitter. Maia was consistent with her visits, trustworthy, uses the rover app to provide daily feedback (& pics!!) on her visits and pilled my baby girl London nightly with no issues. I just got home and my cats are super relaxed and looking at me like "oh... where's Maia?". Really guys?!? Haha! I'll definitely be using Maia's service again. Maia is the best! Maia takes care of my animals all the time! It's obvious she loves animals. She takes such good care of my dog, sends me pictures, and even made me surprise cookies once! Maia is an amazing pet sitter and makes me feel so comfortable leaving my precious babes with her.
Maia was a true lifesaver for us! She came to help on a same day basis and was able to make daily visits for the next few days. Our original sitter (not through Rover) had a last minute emergency and I was out of town. I reached out to Maia through the Rover app and she made magic happen. She sent me pictures everyday and was very responsive with any questions I had. When I got back my pup was very happy, there were no messes in the house and she had food and water in her bowls. I am very happy with Maia's services!

Walks are usually to your dogs favorite familiar places, although we may explore some new routes for fun, but I find familiar is best for them. As for activities, I'm a fan of fetch, running together I the yard, and lots of pets and rubs.
