I was a veterinary technician for several years working with dogs, cats, and other animals (pigs, lizards, rabbits, guinea pigs, more) of all shapes, sizes, temperaments, and attitudes. I am experienced in handling and restraining both your average, senior, and special needs pets. I have helped run doggy day care programs and monitor post-surgery or boarded pets. I have experience administering both oral and injectable medications, as well as drawing blood intravenously and ear prick (for blood sugar). I'm also a photographer, so I will send many pictures during my visits! Currently, I work from home most days, so I can easily work from your home while watching your pet! I am online 8am-4pm, but otherwise can commit my time to your pet. I have two cats that I care for by myself full time. I do not keep other pets at my home (my cats are not very friendly), but I do like to take a tour of the home before being left alone there so I know where all the essentials are. Not only that, its important for me to note potential areas the pet can hide or escape from.
