I've loved ALL animals my entire life, and I started pet-sitting in my neighborhood when I was around 11-years-old (I am now 24!). My family has always had dogs and I worked in a puppy store for three years. With this being said, I am more than comfortable with dogs of all ages (and sizes!). In my previous endeavors I have cared for two senior chihuahuas that required special diets and medication, as well as dogs needing allergy pills and the likes. I have no problem administering medication as long as I am properly instructed on how to do so. Being as I worked in a puppy store for so long, I do well at teaching potty training as well as basic commands. I had multiple rescue Dobermans and Boxers growing up, so I understand that mutual respect is necessary between humans and pets to form a good relationship and a trusting bond. Even if your pup isn't the friendliest with newcomers, I will do everything I can to make them feel happy and comfortable. In addition to dogs, I have previously cared for a plethora (20+) of cats at a rescue belonging to a family friend on a weekly basis, understanding their varying personalities and needs. Growing up, I had neighbors across the street that had all kinds of animals. I'm talking fish, hamsters, lizards, snakes, insects, you name it. As long as I am given instructions on how to care for an animal, I am comfortable doing so! In college, my roommate and I had a leopard gecko so I have great experience in caring for them as well. I am also a professional photographer, and I absolutely love taking pictures of animals. You can expect plenty of dazzling photo updates from me! I am in school, locally & part-time, but when booking clients I make sure your sweet babies will always be my priority! Whenever I have plans to go out of town I update my Rover calendar immediately. I will always be mindful of booking requests when taking time off and I am extremely punctual when it comes to letting repeat clients know when I will be unavailable.
