Pet care experience
I've had numerous dogs enter my life through family and friends and have a broad spectrum of experience with many breeds. From Chihuahuas to Mastiffs and many in-between. I foster dogs through non-profits within Southern California including the primary organization I work with: Hollywood Huskies. I have experience with severe medical cases and the young playful ones that have yet to be trained. I have a 3 (almost 4) year old, female Siberian Husky who I've trained off-leash among many other things. I spent a lot of time training her to prove huskies could be trained - she is living proof that any dog can be trained with time, patience, and consistent attention. I truly and wholeheartedly love dogs. House Sitting: My rate includes walking your dog(s) 1-3 times per day. Most house sitters will stay home with your pet and do not walk your dog(s). If you prefer your dog stays indoors, I can change my base rate. Please reach out to me if this is the case. Additionally, I bring my own food/beverages/toiletries/bedcovers. I'm a people-person and a dog-person! Very easy to get along with. Training: I'm happy to continue your dog(s) training, however, please keep in mind - extensive training involves concentrated 1:1 time with your dog(s) and is not part of any package on Rover. I'd love to teach your dog new skills while I care for them, however, I do so out of kindness. If you'd like to add-on 1:1 training, please let me know and we can discuss the rate.

Mai is an incredible dog sitter and trainer. She did such a great job keeping me in the loop as to what was going on with our four dogs (2 of them puppies). She really cares for dogs and understands how they work. She helped come up with a better system for us to implement with them and when we came back from being gone a week, the puppies knew how to sit and use the doggy door! I cannot recommend her enough! She is responsible, responsive, kind and caring.
She was so amazing with our puppy, Benny. She continued his training while we were away and took such special care of him, and he really bonded to her.
I have two dogs. Mai has been a frequent house sitter of mine for the last year and has done an amazing job carrying out the routines I have for them and taking note of their specific needs. She is kind, professional, communicative, and relatable. She is always my first choice to house-sit or walk my dogs!
Mai was such an amazing and accommodating caregiver for our pup. Our dog is high energy and Mai made sure he received tons of exercise and long walks. She followed all of our care instructions to a T. Her communication is great from start to finish and she sends the best photos and videos of our dog (who doesn’t like posing for pictures so I don’t know how Mai does it haha!). She even taught him to play dead - so cute! We will definitely go to Mai again in the future.

I always conduct a meet & greet prior to any multi-day house sitting arrangement. I will abide by the client's rules and preferences to ensure their pup is cared for the way they see fit. I think it's incredibly important for a dog to have their routine carried out in the event their owner/parent is not there. I'm very respectful and mindful of my actions and will always ensure a client and their dog have a positive experience.

A typical day
Almost all of my interactions with a dog involve some level of training. I like to give treat puzzles and anything that stimulates their senses. I usually don't advocate for dog parks especially for puppies still learning how to socialize (unless the client requests it). Dogs get plenty of outdoor time with me.

I work from home with a flexible schedule. I make my own hours and can work around caring for a dog like I do with my own. Occasionally, I'll have to go in the office for a few hours.
